Take a few days of your vacation and discover the real Dominican Republic during a stay on a typical local finca.
Our Finca respective the Finca of Claus, Christian’s father, and his partner Josefina, is just a short 1,5h drive away from Bayahibe and is situated further inland in Hato Mayor. The area there is totally different with its lush green environment with lots of flora and fauna. It is particularly renowned for the horses and the tracks for backcountry horse riding.

The finca was built from scratch in a local and traditional manner in the year 2013. It was always their dream to have their own finca. On the finca there are all kind of animals like pigs, goats, ducks, chickens, turkeys, dogs and of course horses. Besides keeping animals there is also agriculture to find around the house where they grow different local fruits and vegetables.

The finca itself is well equipped for a family up to 4 persons. It features two bedrooms, an outdoor kitchen with a fire pit and BBQ, bathroom, pool, veranda and a pool billiard table as well.
It is a small paradise in paradise.
